Professional History:
Out of college, I got my first break in media/TV when I was hired by NJ 101.5 radio station. They were starting a TV station which would simulcast the Jim Gearhart radio program, ala “Imus in the Morning” & Howard Sterns show, live on Comcast cable. There I learned Television Directing, as well as had my first experience with Newtek Lightwave. That is the time I learned Adobe Photoshop (ver 2 at the time), which was probably the most important program I ever learned.
IN 1995, I left NJ 101.5 for Lanmark Group, to become an editor/producer for an advertising agency working on commercials, corporate videos, and web content, using a Discreet *edit system. It was also this time that I built an editing system based around Adobe Premiere, and started as a freelance editor in my spare time.
In the 2004 NFL Season, I went to work for NFL Films in Mount Laurel NJ, as an film editor on both Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer, where I remained until the 2008/09 season. In December 2008, prior to the stations launch, I joined MLB Network as an editor/producer.
As a shooter, currently I am shooting with Canon 5DmkII's and Sony EX-1/EX-3's. Like the rest of the world, I am waiting on the Red Scarlet and Epic cameras.
In our first year at MLB network, we were nominated for 12 Emmy's, ultimately winning 4. Two projects of mine nominated were "Incident at Candlestick" as well as "Studio 42 with Bob Costas". I served as editor and associate producer on both.
In May 2010, I won my first personal Emmy as an editor/producer on "MLB Tonight"

Personal / Education:
Born December 5, 1971 in Red Bank, NJ, I have lived in NJ my whole life. Grew up in Brick NJ, where I graduated from Brick Memorial High School. Spent my college years in Stockton State, in Pomona, NJ and the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Majoring in Media Communications, I specifically studied Audio Production and Film History.
Married in 1995 to my wife Nicole, we now have three children, Alexandra (12), Nicholas (9) and Kylie (8). My interests and hobbies are playing softball, watching sports and movies, and playing guitar.
